Cleaver Heritage is one of my go-to spots when I'm hanging around West Perth. Located on Cleaver Street, this place is laid-back and welcoming, with a casual vibe that makes it a great place to unwind. It's got a pretty good reputation with an average rating of 4.3 from 55 reviews, which is reassuring if you're picky about your coffee.

One of the things I really like about this place is its accessibility. They've taken the time to make sure everyone feels welcome. There's a wheelchair-accessible car park, entrance, seating, and even toilets. It's clear they care about making their space inclusive, and as far as I'm concerned, that's a big plus.

Their opening hours make it convenient to drop by. They're open early, from 7 am, and close at 2 pm every day except Sunday, when they open at 8 am. This is perfect if you need that coffee fix after an early-morning jog around Beatty Park. I usually find the place buzzing with locals getting their daily caffeine fix, but it's never uncomfortably crowded.

When you're there, try sitting outdoors. They have a nice setup that lets you enjoy the morning breeze. There's something quite pleasant about sipping a cup of coffee while the city starts to stir. On top of that, they allow dogs, which is a bonus for pet owners who like to bring their furry friends.

Inside, the vibe is cozy and inviting. They've got solid Wi-Fi, so if you want to get some work done or just browse, you're sorted. This is super helpful for those times when I need to catch up on emails or just scroll through social media while sipping on a latte.

The menu leans heavily on brunch. The usual suspects are there: avocado toast, eggs your way, and a few other breakfast classics. Portions are just right, not too skimpy nor overwhelmingly large. They also offer takeaway and delivery, which I appreciate when I'm in a hurry or just want to enjoy my meal at home.

Coffee isn't the only thing to try here. They've got a decent selection of teas and juices too. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just someone who enjoys a good brunch, you're likely to find something that suits your taste.

Cleaver Heritage's atmosphere feels genuine, like it's been crafted to reflect the neighborhood itself. It's got this easy-going, neighborhood vibe that makes you want to linger. The staff adds to this experience with their friendly and approachable manner. Everyone here seems genuinely interested in making sure you have a good time.

Another thing I appreciate is their commitment to maintaining cleanliness throughout the space. Whether it's the tables, the restrooms, or the open kitchen, everything is kept tidy. They've really made an effort to create a welcoming environment that feels relaxing and comfortable.

Cleaver Heritage's location is great if you're planning to explore the area a bit more. When you step out, there's the Perth Arena not too far away, perfect if you're catching a game or a concert later. Garden shopping is close by at Watertown, offering lots of options if you want to do some retail therapy. Also, nearby Leederville and Northbridge give you even more options for exploring cafes and eateries.

As a regular visitor to coffee shops around Perth, I find Cleaver Heritage hits the right notes for what I look for in a cafe. It's got character, a warm community feel, and a team that seems genuinely passionate about what they do.

If you value a spot that's easy to relax in, somewhere you can happily spend an hour sipping away and watching the world go by, this place is well worth a visit. West Perth may be bustling with activity, but step into Cleaver Heritage and you'll find a little corner of calm and comfort waiting for you.
