I stopped by Bacetto on a weekday morning, drawn by a friend's rave reviews. It's tucked away on Hay Street in West Perth, a stone's throw from the vibrant city center. Parking might be tough sometimes, but this place makes up for it with a welcoming vibe.

When I first walked in, the aroma of fresh coffee hit me. The space is cozy and casual, just right for relaxing. There's a nice mix of seating, both inside and out. If you're like me and love some fresh air, the outdoor seating's a great choice. It's perfect on a sunny day, with just enough shade to make it comfortable.

Bacetto's coffee got my approval right away. Consistently good, each cup tasted thoughtfully prepared. I've tried a few different blends over multiple visits and haven't been let down once. The baristas clearly know their stuff and take pride in their work. They also make a decent chai latte, which my buddy claimed rivaled any she'd had nearby.

The menu covers the brunch essentials, staying simple but effective. Avocado toast is one of their highlights, fresh and well-seasoned. Their pastries are always tempting, flaky, and light. They pair them perfectly with a morning coffee. I noticed people come in for takeaway quite often, which speaks volumes about their quality.

I love how dog-friendly Bacetto is. Seeing other patrons with their dogs relishing the morning sun while sipping coffee gives a community feel. It's one of my favorite things about visiting this spot.

The crowd is typically relaxed, a mix of locals and nearby office workers who pop in for their caffeine fix. The service is friendly and genuine. Every visit feels a little like coming home to familiar faces.

Bacetto closes on weekends, which is a bummer for those lazy Sunday mornings. It makes weekday visits feel even more special. I have a habit of dropping by before heading into the city or after a morning stroll around Kings Park. The café's proximity to the park makes it ideal for grabbing a drink pre or post-walk.

If you spend time in the area, you'll notice how West Perth is a mix of business and residential life. A wander down Hay Street unveils small galleries and specialty shops. You're never more than a short walk from something interesting.

On one side of Bacetto, a few steps away, you can find the Green CAT bus stop. These free buses are part of what makes getting around Perth so simple. For tourists or anyone new to the area, hopping on one is an easy way to explore further without any hassle.

Back to Bacetto, the accessibility options stand out. There's a wheelchair-accessible entrance and ample space inside. The fiendly setup shows a thoughtfulness not every place takes care to offer. It's details like these that leave a lasting impression.

I once grabbed a scone and noticed a group having a low-key office meetup. The casual, warm atmosphere suits both a solitary escape and a lively chat with friends or colleagues. It's flexible enough to accommodate different needs.

Though West Perth can be busier during the workweek, Bacetto offers a little pause away from the rush. The pace here is leisurely, making it a great spot to unwind or refresh before heading back to your day. The café plays a big part in setting this tone.

They also do deliveries, which I haven't tried, but it's a comforting thought for those days when leaving home isn't on the cards. Friends in the area have vouched for prompt service that's just as good as dining in.

If you find yourself near Hay Street, and haven't checked out Bacetto, I'd say it's worth a visit. Whether you're a coffee lover or just need a peaceful nook, this place delivers the goods. It's somewhere I'm happy to return to, time and again.
