Write a ReviewLittle Paris Creperie has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots in Subiaco. It's on Rokeby Road, just across from the iconic Regal Theatre. This spot is a great hangout after catching a show or just to grab a coffee while out shopping. The crepe menu stands out with a nice range of both sweet and savory options. Try the Nutella with strawberries—it never disappoints.
Their coffee is top-notch too. You'll always get a fragrant, warm cup brewed just right. I love their flat whites, smooth and rich with just the right amount of foam. The service is friendly and efficient, which makes for a pleasant visit every time. The staff often greet regulars with a smile and remember your order. It adds a personal touch that many busy spots miss.
On sunny days, the outdoor seating is perfect for soaking up some rays. The tables are a bit close together, but if you don't mind people-watching, it's quite fun. Plus, dogs are welcome, making it an extra cool spot if you've got your furry friend with you. There's nothing better than sipping a hot cup of coffee with your pup at your feet. Just across the street, you can take your dog for a walk in the green space near Subiaco Primary School.
The wheelchair access is impressive for a place this size. All entries, seats, and parking areas are accessible, which is rarer than you'd expect. It makes visiting here easy for everyone, which I really appreciate. The whole vibe is laid back, as a local coffee shop should be.
The place gets packed, especially during weekend brunch hours. Expect a line sometimes, but the wait doesn't drag on. The turnaround is fast since they handle in-store pick-up and deliveries efficiently. I've tried their no-contact delivery option, and it's handy for lazy days when leaving the house feels like too much effort.
Their hours are pretty convenient, though they're closed on Tuesdays. Dropping by for a morning cup before work or an afternoon pick-me-up is ideal. If you have time on weekends, it's worth grabbing a late breakfast there. You might want to double-check their opening times since it varies slightly each day.
Subiaco itself is a vibrant area with a mix of boutique shops, art galleries, and parks. You can easily make a day of it, wandering the streets and dipping in and out of stores. If you're a foodie, the broader Subiaco area offers diverse culinary choices. From trendy Japanese spots to classic Italian joints, it has quite the array. While Little Paris Creperie doesn't offer a full lunch or dinner menu, it's a great start or end point for a day out, with enough light bites to keep you going.
If you're into sports, Subiaco Oval is nearby, although it's repurposed now. It still holds a rich history and you'll find locals who have plenty of stories to share. Subiaco is really a spot where old meets new in the nicest way, and Little Paris fits right in with its modern, simple aesthetics.
People often forget the importance of a good atmosphere in coffee shops. It's relaxed here; you can just be yourself. I've found it's an easy place to unwind with friends or even alone with a good book. The decor is minimalistic, but that's part of its charm—it's straightforward and genuine.
Also, keep an eye out for parking, as it can sometimes be a hassle on busy days. Try the lanes and side streets if Rokeby Road is full. But once you're parked, the area is walkable with most things under a ten-minute stroll.
For those with dietary needs, don't worry. There are gluten-free crepe options, though double-check on ingredients to be sure. They're accommodating where they can be, which is always a nice touch.
All in all, Little Paris Creperie is a gem in Subiaco. It merges quality coffee with delicious crepes, which is just what you need sometimes. This is my personal little spot, one that makes lunchtime or a quick coffee break feel special. If you're around Subiaco and need a caffeine fix, drop by. It might just become your favorite spot too.
