Write a ReviewI love grabbing coffee in Subiaco, and Coffee Shot on Salvado Road has become a regular stop. First off, the coffee here is always stellar. Whether it's my usual flat white or trying something new, they've got the brew just right. It's not too strong, not too weak, and always the perfect warmth. The baristas clearly know their stuff. I'm there a lot and can say the service is a solid win. They're quick and friendly, even during busy morning rushes. And they're pretty accommodating with special requests, which is a plus for someone as picky as me.
The place opens nice and early, so it's great for grabbing a cup before work. If you're a morning person like me, you'll appreciate those 6 am starts on weekdays. Plus, it stays open until 5 pm, which is perfect for an afternoon caffeine boost or just chilling with friends after work.
I also love that it's dog-friendly, so my furry buddy can tag along. There are always a few other dogs there, adding to the casual and friendly vibe. The outdoor seating area is comfy and great for people-watching. It's got a nice community feel to it, too.
Coffee Shot has all kinds of options if you prefer to hang out or just grab and go. They've got dine-in, takeaway, and even delivery services. I once tried their drive-through when I was in a hurry, and it was super convenient. Plus, the takeaway cups are sturdy, so no worry about spills in the car!
I highly rate their snack options, too. They serve yummy pastries that go great with coffee. I like grabbing a freshly baked croissant for breakfast, it never disappoints. If you have more time, try their sandwiches at lunch. They are fresh and packed with flavor. I heard they cater to a few dietary needs too, which is a win if you're gluten-free.
The interior is spacious and clean, with a chill vibe perfect for unwinding. There are plug points around, which makes it easy to bring a laptop and catch up on emails. The free Wi-Fi is fast, so bonus points there. It's pretty accessible, too, with a wheelchair-friendly entrance and toilets, which is considerate.
The crowd is a mix of locals and folks working nearby. It's laid back and everyone seems to know each other, which is nice in a busy suburb like Subiaco. During weekends, it's lively with families and groups of friends stopping by.
It's also handy to find other spots around this place. Right near Coffee Shot, there are some great shops and local boutiques to explore. You're also close to major sports venues like Subiaco Oval, great if you want coffee before a game. A short walk away is Kings Park, which is one of my favorite spots for a nature break. After coffee, I sometimes stroll through there and enjoy the views of the city skyline.
Public transport is a breeze from here, too. Subiaco Train Station is nearby, making it easy to reach the coffee shop from other parts of Perth. Parking isn't too much of a struggle either, with street parking options and some nearby car parks.
Now, talking more about Subiaco, it's one of those areas in Perth jam-packed with character and history. It's got a quaint mix of vintage and modern, with plenty to do. If you've got time before or after your coffee break, check out the local markets or art galleries nearby. There are often community events happening around here, worth keeping an eye on.
Subiaco's got some cool parks and open spaces apart from Kings Park—just the right spots for a lazy afternoon or a family picnic. Banyard Park is nearby, and it's a good spot for a quiet walk or letting the kids run around. There's also Lake Jualbup if you're keen on watching water birds or just lazing by the water with a coffee.
In short, Coffee Shot is one of those top spots in Subiaco that blends good coffee with a chill vibe. Whether you're diving into your day or kicking back after a long one, it fits the bill. You'll find me there sipping away with other regulars, chatting, and soaking up the laid-back feel this place offers. It's a real home for coffee lovers like me.
