Write a ReviewBlacklist Coffee Roasters in Subiaco is a solid spot for a coffee break. I've been visiting coffee places all around Perth for some time, and this one stands out in a few ways. Located on Hay Street, it's a straight shot from central Perth, making it pretty accessible. When I first walked in, the smell of freshly brewed coffee is like a warm hug. It's got this chill vibe inside, quite inviting with the modern yet comfy interiors.
I love that they're open every day, from 7 am to 2 pm, except on weekends when they start a bit later. This is great for early risers like myself looking for a caffeine fix before diving into the day. Their coffee is top-notch; I believe it's because they roast their own beans. The staff seems to really know their beans and brew, which makes the experience even better. I've had a mocha and a flat white here, and both were pretty impressive. They have that perfect balance of rich flavors without being bitter.
Blacklist also offers a few seating options. If you've got a furry friend tagging along, outdoor seating is available and yes, dogs are welcome. I like sitting outside when the weather's good, sipping my coffee and watching the world go by. It's not really a huge place, but it feels spacious and well-organized. I noticed there's also a wheelchair-accessible entrance, which is thoughtful.
Around the area, Subiaco is pretty vibrant with things to see and do. Just a short stroll away, you'll find the Subiaco Arts Centre if you're into catching a play or some music. There are lots of quaint shops and boutiques nearby, perfect for a leisurely walk and maybe some shopping. Another plus for the location is the bustling Subiaco Markets, where you can pick up fresh produce or browse interesting stalls.
Back to coffee, Blacklist offers both takeaway and delivery, which is handy. I sometimes grab my coffee to go and wander around the local shops. They also provide onsite services, but I haven't tried those yet. Their website is easy to navigate for any updates and additional information.
Despite being in a busy area, Blacklist manages to maintain a peaceful ambiance. It's one of those places that's great for a solo coffee date or catching up with a friend. It seems they've put effort into making it a welcoming space for everyone. The service is courteous, which adds to the pleasant vibe. You feel like they genuinely appreciate having you there.
I haven't had any food there yet, mostly because I usually visit after breakfast. But I overheard someone at the counter raving about their baked goods. I'll probably try one of their pastries next time. It's comforting to know they cater to various preferences, including dine-in and home delivery options. When you fancy enjoying their coffee without leaving your house, you've got that convenience.
Given its prime location in Subiaco, you have plenty of other spots around if you want to explore. King's Park isn't too far either, a perfect place to relax with nature. After my coffee, I sometimes head there to enjoy the gardens. Subiaco Oval is also nearby, which is great for footy fans.
At Blacklist, versatility is a mild thrill. They seem to cater to casual coffee enthusiasts and more experienced coffee drinkers alike. I feel like I could bring pretty much anyone here, and they'd find something they'll like. I think that's the appeal—good coffee, convenient location, and a relaxed atmosphere.
Blacklists already got solid ratings, so it's not just me who thinks it's great. It's pretty clear why it gets so many positive reviews. While in Subiaco, it's totally worth checking out, whether you're just passing through or live nearby. It's the type of place you can visit regularly, satisfying your coffee cravings with consistency. This one's a keeper on my list of go-to coffee stops, and I think anyone in or around Perth should drop by.
