If you're into coffee and beach vibes, South Beach Cafe is a must-see. The cafe sits right by the ocean in South Fremantle. So, you can sip your coffee while taking in those ocean views. The place feels laid-back and relaxed, which I love.

The menu here has all sorts of goodies. From basic pastries to more filling breakfast dishes. They've got this smashed avocado toast that hits the spot. If you swing by later, their pizzas aren't bad either. Coffee is solid. Not the best in all of Perth, but good enough to keep me coming back. Plus, you can enjoy it outdoors with the sea breeze on your face.

Their hours are easy to remember. Every day they're open from 5:30 am to 7 pm. So, early birds and evening chillers can both find a time that works. It's a full week coverage. You don't have to stress about which day they're closed.

The place is pretty accessible. Wheelchair users will find it accommodating. Everything from the car park to the restrooms is well thought out. Plus, they have gender-neutral toilets, which is a nice touch for inclusivity.

South Beach Cafe isn't just about coffee and views. It's probably one of the more pet-friendly spots around. They allow dogs, so I see a lot of dog parents enjoying a cuppa while their pups snooze or say hi to other dogs. There's something about dogs and coffee that just fits, you know?

If you're looking to grab and go, they do delivery and takeaway too. Handy if you want to enjoy your drink elsewhere or take some treats to the beach.

The crowd here is mixed. Locals, some tourists, a few surfers fresh from the waves. It's a good spot to people-watch if that's your thing. Sometimes it gets busy, especially on sunny weekends. But there's rarely a long wait which is nice.

Speaking of the area, South Fremantle itself is a cool place. The beach is obviously a big draw. But there's also this colorful vibe in town. Street art, quirky shops, and a few classic pubs make it fun to explore. You could easily spend a whole day wandering around.

Nearby, there's the Fremantle Markets, a happening spot on weekends. It's not too far if you want to make it a food and shopping day. The range there is wild; everything from homemade candles to artisanal snacks.

If you're in the area, check out the Esplanade Park. It's a great place to take a stroll or maybe kick a ball around. Kids usually have a field day at the playground there. Sometimes, you can catch local events or shows happening.

Public transport is okay in Fremantle. Buses run often enough if you're not driving. But having a car can be handy, especially if you want to hit a few different spots or carry lots of beach gear.

For a chill spot with good views, South Beach Cafe does the trick. It's not trying too hard and that's part of the charm. Sit, relax, and enjoy that coffee with the sound of waves in the background. Plus, the whole area gives you more to explore, taste, and see.

The staff at South Beach Cafe are pretty cool, too. They don't rush you and usually add a friendly touch to your visit. Always good for a quick chat if they're not too busy. Makes the experience a little more personal.

In a nutshell, it's not just a cafe but a part of the larger Fremantle vibe. A little escape spot with good coffee and even better views. Plus, the beach is right there, hard to beat that combo. If you're ever near South Fremantle, I'd say definitely stop by and see it for yourself. You'll probably end up staying a little longer than planned, just soaking it all in.
