I recently stopped by Zoie Cafe in Scarborough, and it's got a decent, chilled vibe. It's perched along 171 The Esplanade, which is pretty easy to find. Parking was a breeze with a wheelchair-accessible car park with plenty of spots. First off, Zoie Cafe has something for everyone: dine-in, takeaway, and even delivery if you're feeling lazy.

The atmosphere inside is laid-back. Nothing fancy, but it's cozy enough to chill with friends or family. I like how there's outdoor seating. On a good day, it's the perfect place to enjoy your coffee with the sound of the ocean in the background. Plus, it's dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry buddy along.

Their staff was friendly and eager to help. I ventured for the classic flat white and it was pretty good. Not mind-blowing but definitely worth the $4. The café also has a bar on-site, making it a good spot if you're up for a drink later in the day.

There's Wi-Fi available, which is a major plus if you like working out of cafes. I noticed quite a few folks with laptops there. It's a great spot to be productive during the week. They operate from 7 am till 5 pm on weekdays, which is good if you like early starts. On Friday and Saturday nights, they stay open till 9 pm, giving more time for meetings or just winding down after a long day.

Zoie serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you're covered whatever the time. Their menu has a range of options, from healthy meals to the indulgent fried stuff. Sometimes they get pretty busy, especially on the weekends, so don't be surprised if you end up waiting a bit for your food.

One thing that stands out is the location. Zoie Cafe is just a stone's throw away from Scarborough Beach. You can easily make a day of it by combining a visit here with some time at the beach. Scarborough Beach is stunning. Whether you're into surfing or just lounging around in the sun, it doesn't disappoint.

The café's not far from the Scarborough Beach Pool either. If you're into swimming, it's worth checking out. The area around Zoie also has a bunch of shops and small boutiques to explore. Whether you're looking for something unique or just window shopping, you'll find plenty to see.

You'll also find heaps of local events happening in Scarborough. Sometimes there are markets or live music gigs. It's worth keeping an eye out if you're in the area. They add a real extra layer of fun to the visit.

Back at Zoie's, if you're into pastries, you'll have options. They stock some nice cakes and desserts. Pair one with a cappuccino to finish off your meal, it hits the spot. While Zoie Cafe has its charm, the average rating sits around 3.6. Realistically, it's not going to blow everyone's socks off. But it is consistent and good for day-to-day hangouts or meet-ups.

Zoie feels like a solid, versatile choice, especially if you're close by and fancy a chill spot. Friendly staff, good food choices, and convenient location make it worth checking out.
