Postmaster Coffee is a little gem in North Perth. I've been to many coffee spots around Perth, and I can say this place is a standout. It's tucked away on View Street, which has its own charm. You walk in, and you're greeted by the comforting smell of freshly brewed coffee. It's got a simple vibe, nothing over the top, which adds to its appeal.

Most days, they open from 8 am to 2 pm, except Sundays and Mondays when they take a break. I kind of respect that about them. It's like they're saying, "We're here, but we value our downtime too." Tuesday to Saturday, you get a nice little window to grab your morning or midday fix.

The outside seating is something I adore. I'm a fan of fresh air, and it's even better when a coffee is in my hand. They make being outside feel cozy. The tables are spaced just right, so you're not elbow to elbow with the next person. And if you've got your furry friend with you, they're more than welcome. Always nice to see dogs chilling beside their owners with a wagging tail.

Now, about the coffee itself – it's a solid 10 in my book. They know their beans. Every cup is consistently rich and full-bodied, none of that watered-down stuff you get in some places. Their craftsmanship in every brew shows they've truly honed their craft. In this town, finding a consistently great cup isn't always a sure thing, but here it's a given.

I've noticed other visitors seem to appreciate the laid-back, no-rush service. There are no baristas rushing around in circles. It's all chill, with warm, genuine smiles. It's like they've known you forever, even if it's your first visit.

If you're someone who needs parking to be hassle-free, they've got that covered. There's a wheelchair-accessible car park, which is handy because looking for parking in North Perth can be like a game of hide and seek. Speaking of accessibility, Postmaster Coffee also provides seating that's wheelchair-friendly. It's nice to see places being inclusive and welcoming for everyone.

During one visit, I tried their brunch. It was spot-on. They keep it simple but tasty, making sure they don't overdo or underdo anything. I recommend keeping an eye on what they're serving up because some dishes have a reputation around here. Fresh and satisfying is how I'd put it.

Not far from Postmaster, you've got some cool spots to check out too. Hyde Park is a short walk away, which is great if you want to wander about with your coffee in hand. It's one of those lush, green parks where you can easily lose track of time. Ideal for a lazy afternoon or just a quick stroll. It's got a couple of lakes and plenty of big trees for shade. Families, dog walkers, and picnickers love it.

After coffee, you might want to wander a bit more. Angove Street, with its little shops and cafes, is nearby. It's a lively strip with a character, perfect for window shopping or people-watching. If you're up for something more artsy, the North Perth Town Hall sometimes has events and things worth checking out.

It's obvious Postmaster Coffee values community. You can see it in how they treat folks who come by. Regulars and newbies alike get the same attentive care. This kind of place gets regulars, not just for their coffee but for the whole experience.

I must mention the lack of web presence. I know they have a website, but they don't make a lot of noise online. It's almost old-school, focusing more on what they do well rather than what people say about them online. It kind of works in their favor, making each visit feel a bit more personal and less like stepping into a commercial chain.

For those of you who run on coffee, there are takeaway options at Postmaster too. Not everyone has time to sit and chill. Knowing you can grab one of their fine cups to go is a plus. You get that same quality whether you're sipping it there or running off to your next task.

It's really one of North Perth's simple pleasures. Whether you're a local or just passing through the area, dropping by will likely leave you with a good mood and even better coffee. This little spot does it right, capturing the essence of what makes visiting coffee shops enjoyable. No frills, just genuinely good coffee and good times.
