Milkd & Co in North Perth has become one of my favorite spots for a laid-back coffee experience. I usually drop by there before running errands or meeting friends nearby. The vibe at this place is both cozy and inviting, perfect for slowing down and enjoying a good cup of coffee. I love how it's tucked away on Angove Street, a quieter spot but still near all the action.

Their coffee never disappoints, consistently solid and flavorful. My friends and I often catch up over a cup of their flat white or a strong long black. The baristas know their craft and are always friendly, which adds to the inviting atmosphere. It feels like a community spot where you can unwind and catch your breath.

I appreciate that they open early at 6:30 am almost every day, except Mondays when they're closed. This makes it a perfect go-to for an early morning coffee run, especially after walking my dog at nearby Hyde Park. The park is just a short drive away and offers lovely green spaces and ponds. It's a great way to start a day before heading to Milkd & Co for a warm drink and a bite to eat.

Speaking of bites, their breakfast menu is just right. They offer a range of options from simple toasties to heartier breakfasts. I often go for their avocado smash, which always hits the spot. If you're there on a weekend, try their eggs benedict – it's a classic for a reason. Everything feels fresh and homemade, which isn't always easy to find.

What's convenient is their takeaway option. It's great when I'm in a rush and need to grab something quick before heading out. Even when they're busy, the service is quick and efficient. Sometimes I'll find a comfy spot to dine in, as they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Plus, it's nice that dogs are allowed in the outside area, making it a pet-friendly option.

Access is easy too. They have a wheelchair-accessible car park and seating, which is a big plus for people with mobility needs. It's thoughtful touches like these that make Milkd & Co stand out. They even have accessible toilets, so everyone's taken care of.

On a typical visit, my eyes wander to the walls adorned with local art and notices of upcoming community events. It has that personal touch that connects with locals, not just passersby. Sometimes they have live music, adding another reason to stay a bit longer and soak in the vibe.

When I'm around, I also like exploring the nearby markets and shops on Fitzgerald Street. It's a lively area and there's always something happening, making it worth the visit. After grabbing coffee, browsing some of the local boutiques or catching a film at Luna Leederville is just a short drive away.

Parking around Angove Street can get a bit tight, but it's manageable if you time it right. I sometimes pair my visits with a quick trip to the local gym or yoga studio nearby, making the most out of my day. There's a bank, bakery, and pharmacy all within walking distance, adding to the convenience.

If you're from out of town or new to the area, Milkd & Co offers a genuine taste of North Perth's laid-back charm. It captures the essence of the local neighborhood while serving up quality food and coffee. It's those simple yet significant things that make it a repeat-worthy spot for me.

As a coffee shop lover, I dig places that combine great service, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Milkd & Co scores high on all these fronts. It's a little slice of comfort and consistency in a world that often feels rushed. Whether you're meeting a friend, reading solo, or just grabbing a coffee to go, it feels like a familiar and friendly place to hang out. For anyone exploring Perth's coffee scene, Milkd & Co is definitely worth adding to your list.
