Dome Cafe at Deep Water Point is a hidden gem for anyone cruising around Mount Pleasant. I love parks and water, and this spot ticks both boxes with its wonderful riverside location. The views over the Swan River are just priceless. The large glass windows let you enjoy the scenery even when sitting inside. With a coffee in hand, you can watch the world go by.

The place is always bustling, but in a good way. There is a kind of buzz about it that I find energizing. I've been here more times than I can count, and I always know what to expect. It's like visiting an old friend who never lets you down. The staff greet you with a smile and the coffee never disappoints.

Dome is known for its light meals and they don't mess around with the menu. I can always find something that hits the spot. Whether it's a hearty breakfast or a quick snack with coffee, they have it covered. The BLT is a personal favorite or sometimes the pancakes if I feel like treating myself.

Outdoor seating is always a must for me. There's something great about sipping your coffee while the sun shines and a light breeze blows. Dogs are welcome outside too, which is great because I sometimes bring my furry buddy along. Plus, they have water bowls out for the pups. Little things like that show they care about the details.

Parking is usually a pain in other spots but not here. There is a decent sized car park and it's wheelchair-friendly too. They actually cater really well for everyone—ramps, wheelchair-accessible seating, and bathrooms. You can see they've thought through the accessibility bit, which is cool. Not all places do.

The Wi-Fi here is another big win. Sometimes I'll pop my laptop open and get some work done. It's like my portable office for the day. Just walk in, grab a spot, order something, and you're good to go. The good coffee and yummy pastries don't hurt either.

While it's busy on weekends, the view makes up for any wait times. Families, joggers, and cyclists make up most of the crowd. If you feel like a little stroll, the Deep Water Point Reserve is right there. It's where you can stretch your legs or just take a break from your screen if you're working.

The same quality every time—that's what I enjoy about this Dome. Whether I have breakfast or swing by for an afternoon pick-me-up, the taste is on point. If you're a sucker for cappuccinos as I am, this place does it right. Creamy, rich, just perfect.

Mount Pleasant is a sweet area to explore. After a chill session at Dome, you can wander along the river front. Elizabeth Quay isn't too far either if you want to check out more around the city. The area is peaceful yet lively enough to keep your energy up—best of both worlds.

Dome is open until 9 pm every day, which is awesome. I've even popped in late a few times after a day out. A bit of coffee to keep the night alive or a cozy spot to wind down. They also offer takeaway and even delivery, which is handy for those chill-out-in-PJ days.

Kids don't get left out either. They've got a decent kids' menu with all the usual stuff. Nuggets, chips, milkshakes. Dome keeps it simple so everyone is happy. Families seem to love this place; you'll see the kids playing near the riverbank.

For anyone needing accessible amenities, Dome ticks all the boxes. Wheelchair-friendly spaces are a norm here. It's a breath of fresh air to see a place cater to everyone's needs without any fuss.

So, if you find yourself near Mount Pleasant and have a craving for coffee, check this Dome out. It's like a piece of calm in the middle of city hustle. Just grab a cup and enjoy the moment. You won't regret it—trust me.
