I visit coffee shops all the time in Perth, and iamFIT Cafe is one of my favorites. I stumbled upon it when I was wandering Joondalup one morning, looking for a caffeine fix. It sits right on Joondalup Drive, a bit away from the hustle and bustle, giving it a calm vibe. The location is convenient, especially if you're already out shopping. Just nearby, you've got Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City which has a lot to offer if you're keen on some retail therapy or just browsing around.

The first thing I noticed about iamFIT Cafe is their friendly staff. They make you feel welcome without hovering, which I appreciate. It's one thing to run a business, but making customers feel like they're part of a little family, that's special. They remember your name if you're a regular. The personal touch goes a long way for me. There's nothing pretentious here, just good people serving good coffee.

The coffee itself really hits the spot. It's smooth, not too strong, and they do a lovely latte. I also love their cappuccinos. They don't skimp on the choc powder, and it pairs well with their blend. Every cup is consistent, and that's not always easy to find. If you're not into regular milk, they offer plenty of options like almond and soy. Plus, the coffee is reasonably priced, which is always a bonus.

While the coffee is stellar, their brunch menu is worth a mention too. It's not an extensive menu with countless options, but what they have, they do well. There's a nice variety of healthy but tasty meals. I usually go for their smashed avo on toast—it's fresh and filling. They also have a killer smoothie bowl. It's colorful and piled with fresh fruits and granola. If I'm in the mood for something sweeter, their pancakes are fluffy and topped with fresh berries.

What's cool about this place is that it caters to everyone—meat lovers, vegans, or if you just want something light. And if you're in a rush, they do takeaway service. I think I've grabbed a coffee to-go more times than I can count, and it's always quick.

Their hours are convenient too, they open early at 6 am during weekdays. Perfect for people needing their morning brew before heading to work. They close at 2 pm, so lunchtime can be busy, but there's usually enough space. Weekends, they're open a bit later for a relaxed brunch scenario, which is perfect for lazy Saturdays.

The cafe itself has a relaxing atmosphere. It's bright and airy with enough room to sit and chat, but not crowded with tables. It's wheelchair accessible, which is great. You don't see that everywhere, and it's nice knowing everyone is welcome here. They allow dogs too, so sometimes there's a wagging tail or two. If you're a pet owner, it means you can enjoy your meal without worrying about leaving your furry friend outside.

If you're visiting with friends or family, there are nearby parks to explore afterward. Neil Hawkins Park isn't far off, and it's perfect for a post-coffee stroll. Or, if you're an art lover, the nearby Joondalup Art Gallery showcases cool exhibits every now and then.

For the fitness buffs or gym-goers in the area, the café name makes sense—it's linked with the iamFIT training center. If you fancy a workout, you can grab a protein-packed smoothie or acai bowl afterward. I'm not an avid gym enthusiast, but it's handy knowing there's a place to fuel up right after a session.

In summary, iamFIT Cafe offers a genuine café experience without the frills. It's become a staple spot I recommend to anyone visiting Joondalup. Great coffee, good eats, and a break from the city rush, all wrapped up in one spot. If you're around, give it a go.
