Write a ReviewI find myself going to Earth Wholefoods pretty often; it's one of those spots you just keep returning to. Nestled in Joondalup, it's a cozy spot that feels just right for grabbing a coffee or a bite. I don't mind the short trek from Perth each time because it feels like a small escape from the busy city life.
As soon as you step inside, you notice the laid-back vibe. The whole place feels warm and inviting, which is nice when you just want to chill out for a bit. The baristas here know their beans, and that's clear with each cup they brew. They have a way with coffee that's hard to beat; it's smooth, rich, and hits just the right spot without being too fancy.
During weekdays, it opens at 8 am, so it's perfect for grabbing a morning coffee or even a casual lunch. They close at 5:30 pm, which means it's a great place for an afternoon catch-up too. Saturday is a bit different, as they close at 4 pm, and they're closed on Sundays, but that just means Mondays here are buzzing with folks catching up after the weekend.
One of the cool things about Earth Wholefoods is that they've got a pretty solid menu for a coffee spot. It's not just about coffee–they've got wholefoods options, and the menu leans towards healthy, fresh, and organic. You feel good eating here, knowing you're getting something fresh and wholesome. Best part? The meals don't leave you feeling too full or bogged down.
They've got the basics like classic avo smash but include a twist for more adventurous eaters. And let's not forget the desserts. There's always a nice collection of treats, both naughty and nice, depending on the mood. Definitely worth trying if you have a sweet tooth.
If you've got a dog, you'll love that they welcome pups. Next time, you can bring your furry friend along. It's a nice touch for a relaxed catch-up or when you're running errands with your pup tagging along. Another big plus is the accessibility. The place is set up to welcome everyone, with a wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking. They've truly thought of everyone with this setup.
Sometimes I take advantage of their same-day delivery or in-store pick-up. Occasionally, I've needed a quick takeaway lunch, and they make it a breeze. The online setup through their website is user-friendly too. It's handy if you're in a rush or just want to take your meal home.
Their location in Joondalup is a bit of a bonus because there's so much nearby. Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City is just around the corner if you need to do some shopping afterwards. It's one of those big spots that seem to have everything you could want, from clothes to gadgets. If you're into nature, Neil Hawkins Park is not too far off either. It's a lovely place to unwind with big trees and plenty of birds to spot. Plus, the Yellagonga Regional Park isn't too far either–perfect for a good walk or a bit of fresh air after lounging in a cafe.
Another thing to chat about is the community feel around here. Earth Wholefoods isn't just a spot to eat and drink; it's a place where you sometimes end up chatting with the locals. People come here for the relaxed atmosphere, and many of them know each other. You get more than just a meal; you get a slice of the local life, sweetened with friendly faces and easygoing chat.
While there's no shortage of great coffee spots in Perth and its surrounds, Earth Wholefoods offers something uniquely comforting. It's the kind of place you stick around for just a bit longer, enjoying an extra coffee or one more bite of dessert. So if you're thinking about changing up your regular coffee run, take a trip out here. You might find it becomes one of your new favorites, just like it did for me.
