Write a ReviewI've visited many coffee spots around Perth, and Aviator's Cafe in Jandakot stands out. Nestled on Eagle Drive, it's easy to find and has a charm all its own. The cafe opens bright and early at 7:30 am every day, which works great for early risers. It's nice to start the day with a piping hot coffee and a tasteful breakfast. I found the overall vibe chill and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back visit.
Their coffee is on point. Smooth brews with the right strength, and the baristas seem to know what they're doing. There's a good balance of flavors, and they use fresh beans. I could smell the roast as soon as I walked in, which is always a promising sign. It's straight-up good coffee.
The food menu leans towards brunch, which suits me just fine. They offer all-day classics like eggs benedict and avocado toast, done right. If you're more about carbs, their pancakes are fluffy and satisfying. Nothing overly fancy, just solid, tasty food. I like being able to sip coffee with a solid meal, and Aviator's offers that seamlessly.
The place is wheelchair accessible, which is notable. Often cafes forget the importance of accommodating all, so it's nice this one gets it right. They have wheelchair-accessible parking, entrances, and even seating, which is really considerate. Plus, they have gender-neutral restrooms and a good setup for anyone with a disability.
One of the unique things about Aviator's is the kerbside pickup. For those rushed mornings, you can just swing by. They also do delivery and takeaway, but I prefer dining in when I visit. The inside is cozy, with simple decor that adds to the homely feel. It's not overly crowded with tables, which gives you breathing room.
Outside, they have a setup for dogs. It's sweet seeing happy pups hanging out while their owners relax. This cafe has become a local hub for both humans and their furry friends. It's another reason to hang out longer over coffee or brunch.
The surroundings offer other attractions too. Being in Jandakot, you're not far from Cockburn Gateway for shopping. There's also Adventure World close by for a bit more excitement. So you can easily make a day out in the area. The convenience is really top-notch.
Service-wise, the staff is friendly and quick to your table. They chat easily without breathing down your neck, which is ideal. They've managed to consistently keep a four-star average, which matches my experience there. Whether it's your coffee fix or a light meal, they seem to handle it all well.
The Aviator's Cafe is a gem for frequent coffee folks and casual diners alike. Without being pretentious, it offers quality you'd expect in pricier spots. Their hours from 7:30 am to 4 pm every day mean you can drop by whenever you feel the need for some caffeine or a bite.
It's satisfying finding a spot that ticks so many boxes. From hot coffee to hearty brunch, the cafe nails the essentials. Everyone from early risers to late breakfast types will find a reason to stay. Aviator's Cafe is keeping it simple and doing it well, and that's why I keep coming back.
