Around Mooba, you've got a decent choice if you're in need of some groceries. The local Aldi isn't far, neither is the large Coles, so you could easily grab your morning brew before tackling the weekly shop. School's close too, for those with kiddos to pick up.

A short drive away, you'll find the equally charming Armadale Reptile and Wildlife Centre. It's a small but sweet spot if you've got kids or just want to spend an afternoon with critters. Plus, there's also Champion Lakes to the north if you fancy some water sports or just a nice walk.
