Timber Cafe sits in Harrisdale, serving up some of the finest coffee around. Every time I stop by, I'm welcomed by the aroma of fresh brews and a friendly buzz. The staff are always eager to make your visit pleasant.

There's something special about the vibe here. It's laid-back, and the folks seem genuinely happy to be here. I think it's partly because of its great service and partly due to the coffee. They certainly know their beans and how to brew them right. Now, let's chat about the essentials — the menu! It's solid, with all your favorites, plus some surprises. I usually start with a latte, which is exactly the right blend of creamy milk and strong espresso. If you need a pick-me-up, the long black here does wonders.

The food at Timber Cafe is worth the visit too. They have everything from traditional breakfasts to hearty lunches. Avocado toast? Check! Eggs any way you want them? Definitely! But their burgers and sandwiches actually stand out. They have interesting flavor blends that keep you craving more. And as a bonus, the menu caters to a variety of diets, so everyone finds something they love.

You can bring your furry friend to Timber too. Dogs are welcome, and they can chill out if you grab a spot outdoors. It's a thoughtful touch, especially on those sunny Perth days. With outdoor seating available, it's a darn good spot for people-watching. Nothing like sipping coffee while watching the world pass by.

Wheelchair access is another big plus here. From the car park to entrances and toilets, it's all set up thoughtfully. This makes Timber a convenient spot for everyone to enjoy. Everyone deserves a great coffee spot, after all.

Let's talk Wi-Fi. It's reliable and perfect for getting some work done while sipping on hot coffee. I sometimes see folks tapping away on laptops, probably students or freelancers. You could see Timber Cafe becoming your second office for the day if that's your thing.

The location is pretty sweet too. There's more than just good coffee around. Harrisdale has a nice suburban feel, with easy access to parks and green spaces. Take a stroll around after your coffee session. If you're in the mood for a bit more shopping or an extended lunch, Stockland Harrisdale Shopping Centre is just down the road. You can find all your necessities there along with some nice spots for browsing.

For families, there's plenty to do. Rothery Park is nearby and perfect for the kids to run off some energy. Set up a little picnic there, or just enjoy the playground and sprawling lawns. And if you've got some time on a Saturday or Sunday, making it a day out in Harrisdale could be a relaxing change of pace.

Timber Cafe itself becomes even busier over the weekend. The crowd grows but their pace doesn't slack off, and I've never had a long wait for my orders. It's the regulars, I guess, who know where to find the good stuff, which speaks volumes about the consistency and quality.

If you're into easy mornings and good vibes, consider starting your day here. During the weekday, the hours are generous. You can swing by from early morning till mid-afternoon. It's a perfect mid-morning stop if you like a less hectic environment. You leave Timber fed, watered, and with a smile — just the way I like my coffee stops.

Having been to quite a few coffee spots around Perth, I find Timber Cafe one of those places worth revisiting. It's not trying to be something it's not; it just does what it does, and it does it well. You're not going to find a better spot for a consistently good cup and some tasty bites in Harrisdale. Make it a point to visit if you're nearby, or even if it's a short drive, it's definitely worth it. The mix of quality coffee, good food, and a welcoming space makes it a standout spot.
