Stella Coffee House is my top spot for a quick coffee fix in East Perth. Whenever I'm in the area, I make it a point to drop by. Their coffee is consistently good, each cup with just the right kick to start my day. There's something special about the rich aroma wafting through the air as you walk in. The place is simple, but that's what I love about it. No frills, just quality coffee.

Stella's menu has a little something for everyone. Whether you're into a strong espresso or a frothy cappuccino, they make it right. Their beans have this great depth and flavor. Trust me, it's the kind of taste that keeps you coming back. If you're keen on a bite, the brunch options are solid too. The avocado toast is a personal favorite, hitting the spot every time.

The vibe here is laid-back and friendly. Outdoor seating is a big plus, especially on sunny days. It's nice to sit there with a book, sipping coffee, and just soaking in the scenes. Dogs are welcome here too. Seeing a pup lounging by their owner's feet adds to the chill vibe.

Weekdays at Stella are the best time to visit since they're closed on weekends. If you're an early riser, you're in luck—they open at 6 am. Perfect for grabbing a takeaway before work. Even if you have a few minutes to spare, the kerbside pickup is super handy. It's efficient and makes your morning routine easier. Planning to hang around and dine-in? The staff is quick and courteous, making sure you feel at home.

The location on Adelaide Terrace is quite convenient. There's a nice energy in East Perth during the weekdays. After getting your coffee fix, why not take a stroll through Langley Park? It's just a stone's throw away, and the river views are lovely. If you extend your walk to the Swan River, there's a nice trail for a leisurely afternoon walk. It's these little things that make Stella a regular stop for me.

Now, if you're more of an artsy type, head towards Art Gallery of Western Australia. It's not too far and definitely worth the visit. They have some fascinating local and international pieces. For a bit more culture, the State Theatre Centre nearby sometimes offers incredible performances. Occasionally, I catch a matinee show after my coffee run. Keeps my days diverse and interesting.

Parking around Stella can be tricky sometimes, especially during peak hours. If you're planning a longer visit, some nearby streets offer paid parking. Alternatively, catching a bus or taking a bike ride could be more hassle-free. Not having to worry about the car is a load off.

Around lunch, Stella tends to get busy—with good reason. Locals swear by their sandwiches and salads. The freshness is obvious with each bite. If they ever have the soup of the day, grab it. Trust me; it's always well-prepared and comforting. You might have to wait a bit longer for orders during lunchtime, but it's worth it.

Another cool thing about East Perth is the small bars popping up everywhere. If you're into craft beers or bespoke cocktails, explore these spots after your coffee break. Many of them have that cozy, local feel and occasionally feature live music. It's wonderful to spend an evening hopping around, discovering new blends.

There's something homely about this part of Perth. Walking through the area, you get a mix of urban life with little homages to the past. The quaint architecture with modern touches is pleasing to the eye. Plus, locals are friendly and always up for a chat, which makes the experience even better.

Speaking of local flavor, there's also the Queens Gardens nearby. It's a tiny oasis and perfect for picnics. The pond there often has some friendly swans and ducks paddling about. Sitting there, with the city's hustle at your back, is quite relaxing. It's these hidden gems that make East Perth special.

If you ask me, Stella Coffee House is a must-visit. Whether you're working, catching up with friends, or just need some 'me time', it's got you covered. From coffee to brunch, this little gem is top-notch. With everything East Perth has to offer, my visits are never dull. The area manages to strike the right balance between being lively and peaceful. Just grab your coffee, explore and enjoy what this corner of Perth has to offer.
