Write a ReviewDistrykt Coffee in Beldon has become one of my favorite spots around Perth. The moment you walk in, you're welcomed by friendly staff who actually remember your coffee order after a visit or two. That's something special. This place isn't hidden in the bustling city center, but it's well worth the short drive. Located on Gunter Grove, it's tucked away just enough for a peaceful coffee break.
They open bright and early at 6 am every day except Sundays. It's perfect for grabbing a coffee on your way to work. Make sure you get there before 2:30 pm during the week, or 1:30 pm on Saturdays, though, because they close earlier than some coffee spots. Walking in, I love their laid-back vibe. It's not pretentious or overly done; it's just right.
Their coffee is something else, consistently smooth and rich. They've nailed the art of a good brew. And with an average rating of 4.8 from nearly a hundred reviews, I'm not alone in thinking this. For those early mornings, their espresso gives you the kick you need. But their flat whites aren't too shabby either.
The place is comfortable and welcoming for everyone. With wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance, and seating, it's one of the more inclusive spots around town. Families feel at home here, and you can spot a dog or two lounging outside. Pets are welcome, which adds a nice touch. They've got outdoor seating too, perfect for sunny mornings.
Unlike some cafes, they offer more than just coffee. Their food menu has just what you need to curb hunger. From light snacks to something more filling, you'll find it here. Everything is served fresh, adding a nice touch that you can taste with each bite. Take their sandwiches, for example—they don't skimp on the filling. They use quality ingredients, which pairs well with your coffee cup.
If you're in a rush, takeaway is an option, too. I see a lot of people calling ahead for takeaway when they're in a hurry. And for those who want to enjoy it at home, they do delivery. Though for me, the best experience is sitting in, enjoying the energy of the place. They manage to keep it dynamic without feeling hectic, which is rare for a cafe.
A simple, unassuming social media presence adds to their local charm. You'll find them on Facebook if you want to check out their latest updates. They usually post if they're trying new things on the menu or adjusting their opening hours.
Beldon itself isn't just about Distrykt Coffee. The suburb is small but bustling in its way. Not far from the shop, you'll find Craigie Leisure Centre, perfect for a post-coffee workout. Edney Monroe Reserve is also nearby, a lovely spot for a walk or a picnic. And if you're needing something, there's a shopping center close by to grab essentials.
The sense of a close-knit community makes this place shine. Regulars chat easily, sharing local news and stories. The staff are part of this too, not just serving coffee but also weaving themselves into the fabric of the neighborhood. It's this mix of great coffee, welcoming vibe, and community spirit that makes Distrykt Coffee stand out.
There's a solid blend of flavors, people, and vibes here. It's the kind of place that, once you stumble upon it, you want to keep coming back. Whether you go for the coffee, the friendly chat, or just a quiet moment to yourself, it delivers. Distrykt Coffee isn't trying to be more than it is – it's just a really great spot to get your coffee fix. It's one of those little gems you hope stays just the way it is.
